Hi! Some commands require a target file or folder. For example, "read" won't work if you don't tell it what to read. Also, it can only read a specific type of file (command compatibility depends on file extension).
Hope that clarifies it. If you have any other questions, let us know.
Glad you like the concept! s.p.l.i.t. was one of our inspirations.
The game has a limited set of commands tied to the narrative, rather than a full bash simulation. That said, could you expand a little bit on what you mean?
We appreciate all feedback and specific details help us see where we can improve.
it seems that in some directories, cd Directory or cd .. works, even the tab autocomplete with this command, but others not. I just assumed it was some debug stuff. i really like that you can get old commands with the arrows too.
Also on one screen to go to the next line its enter and another ctrl (i like that i can read fast, but it feels weird its not one touch for both)
Navigation should work everywhere, but we'll double-check it.
Just a heads up on autocomplete: it only suggests compatible files, and if two files share the same starting letters, you need to type enough characters to make it unique first. It doesn't support nested paths yet, but we plan to improve that.
You're right about the text skipping. Any key works with regular dialogue, but the Protocol phase only accepts the Enter key. We're going to look into making that more consistent.
Really appreciate the notes! If you have any more, feel free to use the feedback form.

Hey Garry, thanks for the breakdown.

Some gameplay, and some ranting about the false dichotomies in philosophical questions.
Thanks for making a video on Human.exe!
